Vintage Silver Hematite Necklace and Earring Jewellery Set

This exquisite vintage Silver and Hematite necklace and earring jewellery set dates to the circa 1920’s and is a superb example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, rich in detail and elegance.

The necklace features a striking central hematite dropper, elongated in an upside down pointed diamond or triangular form, with a sharp point at one end and a faceted diamond-shaped finish at the blunt end.

Rising from the centre are seven additional smaller Hematite’s, arranged along the filigree chains in triangular and diamond shapes.

Each hematite is framed with intricate silver filigree decoration, showcasing fine handwork throughout.

The chains leading to the clasp are composed of delicate diamond-shaped filigree links, adding continuity and refined detail to the overall design.

The matching screw-back Silver earrings echo the necklace beautifully.

Each earring features a square bezel-set Hematite dropper, surrounded by finely made silver filigree, leading up to the screw-back fitting, which is finished with a round cabochon hematite set into the clasp—a wonderful and thoughtful detail (these earrings could be quite easily converted to a modern hook fitting).

Both the necklace and earrings are stamped STERLING and remain in excellent vintage condition.
