This exceptional Art Deco Silver and Rock Crystal pendant is a true statement piece. 

The superb round faceted rock crystal, is beautifully clear and dramatically eye-catching.

The crystal is bezel set in silver within a shallow halo-style mount that has a distinct Romanesque influence, featuring elegant silver scrollwork encircling the bezel and a decorative silver point at the base.

The pointed back of the crystal is left exposed, allowing the gemstone to be admired from behind and showcasing its full natural beauty.

A chunky articulated bail with a hinge adds both movement and presence to the design, and the pendant is suspended from a silver belcher chain.

The piece is stamped STERLING and dates to circa 1920s, embodying the bold glamour and architectural styling of the Art Deco era.
